Julian

Julian is a beautiful, big German Shephard boy, who is stressed in the kennels, like manjority of dogs of course. He loves to chew on a bone in the shade, and to simply quietly spend time with humans. Julian arrived to Triple A with Sanidad and was very upset and irritated, but he adjusted very quickly and is actually a very lovely boy, easy to walk and happily going to the doggie parks at the shelter. Julian is not hyper or overly active, on the walks he is calm, walks very nicely on the leash and also in the dog parks, he stays around the human. We believe he did used to have a home, because like a good German Shephard, he is human-oriented, and stays in close distance to the “master”. He is food-motivated and really enjoys his food. Here in the shelter he is eating Royal Canin Gastro food, because when he arrived, he had a delicate stomach, which has improved very well with the Gastro food. Even when he has pain in his hips, he politely and calmly lets his physiotherapist touch his hips, and enjoys a nice back massage. He does get excited about snacks and tries to take them from you, so we don’t recommend Julian to live together with small children. He could live together with a calm female dog who gives him space and doesn’t jump all over him. Julian do well in a family that is interested in dog trainings, obedience and working on the relationship between the human and the dog - to give Julian a job and positive confidence.
