Flossy

Flossy was once adopted as a puppy, she was not sterilised early enough and very sadly, her adopter at the time did not look after her with enough love and dedication, so Flossy ended up being impregnated. While she was pregnant with the puppies, she was left behind by her human, and she brought the babies to the world in a household of a friend of the adopter. Once the puppies were about 2 months old, Flossy was then abandoned together with her puppies in the shelter again. To make things even more tragic, they arrived exactly at the time of Parvovirus in the shelter, so one of the puppies passed away, the others have survived and are healthy. Flossy herself is very sweet, lovely with humans and really full of love, always happy to see the volunteers! She is a sort of a labrador mix, just 2.5 years old and ready for her forever family! It looks like she has not spent too much time on the leash with her adopter-abandoner, but she learns very quickly. Flossy lives in the shelter together with a group of dogs and is very social and kind with them. Flossy’s shoulder height is about 55cm. The lovely girl was out with our volunteer Rosa and here are her comments: Flossy is a loving dog who loves to be petted and gives affection back. At home she got on the sofa and spent a lot of time there, sometimes resting and other times just enjoying to be caressed. In the garden she likes to play and run around and also to be calm next to me. On the street her only interest is to sniff everything and approach people so they can say hello. She doesn't mind meeting other dogs. In the car there is no problem, she likes to watch and lie on the seat. She will be a lovely and playful dog if adopted by a family with children and she will also be happy only with adults. She is adorable.
