Alexa is a beautiful representative of her breed, getting along well with her peers and displaying affectionate and gentle behavior towards people. Though initially shy, she quickly becomes open to being petted and pampered. She enjoys walks, walks well on a leash, and is curious about exploring the surrounding world. Compatibility with cats can be tested at the shelter if desired. Her owner simply lost interest in his two dogs and got rid of them. She and Xoel are very bonded and should be placed together. Alexa is the calmer of the two, partly due to a diagnosed heart valve malformation by a veterinarian, making her less resilient than her brother Xoel. Despite this, she is a cheerful dog, loves outdoor outings, and also enjoys resting in the garden under the sun. We are looking for a loving, calm, and experienced dog home for Alexa and Xoel, where the decision to care for them is made wholeheartedly and mindfully, forever! They have completed the initial steps in basic dog training and will quickly learn what's missing with love and consistency. In the right circumstances, they will surely soon become cherished family members, whom you won't want to part with. Alexa and Xoel are not suitable for a city apartment; preferably, they should live in a rural environment and on the ground floor. A larger, well-fenced garden would be ideal, where they can move freely without a leash and find a shaded spot to relax.
